Who is Sophie?
Hi, I’m Sophie — the heart behind Safe Paws with Sophie.
I’m at my best when I’m outside — exploring new paths, climbing hills, and soaking up the fresh air. Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and combining my love for the outdoors with caring for them feels completely natural to me. It’s where my energy, passion, and heart truly come alive.
Safe Paws was created to give pet owners complete peace of mind. Whether it’s a fun, enriching walk, reliable pet sitting, or making sure your furry friend feels safe and settled while you’re away, I’m here to provide flexible, trustworthy care you can count on. I also offer pet first aid training, giving owners extra confidence and knowledge to keep their beloved companions safe.
I’m friendly, warm and full of enthusiasm, but I’m also dependable and professional. When you trust me with your pet, you’re not just booking a walk or pet sit — you’re choosing someone who will treat them like family. I take the time to understand every wag, whisker twitch and tail thump, because every animal deserves care that’s personal, patient and full of love.

Big energy? Shy explorer? Social butterfly? I tailor every solo and group walk to your dogs personality. I make sure each walk is full of exercise, enrichment and genuine care to make sure your pup comes home stimulated, well exercised and tail-wagging every time!
I carefully limit my group walks to a maximum of four dogs to ensure a peaceful, well-balanced experience for every pup. With smaller groups, I’m able to provide closer supervision, more meaningful interaction, and the kind of attentive care that gives you true peace of mind.

Time away should feel exciting — not worrying about your pet at home. I offer dependable, tailored pet sitting that keeps your furry friend comfortable in their routine and relaxed in their own space. Whether you’re away for a few days or longer, you can feel confident knowing they’re safe, cared for and receiving plenty of love and attention.

My hands on Pet First Aid Training gives you the confidence to act quickly and calmly in an emergency. You’ll learn CPR, how to manage choking, treat wounds and bleeding, respond to seizures, and recognise early signs of distress.
These classes will help turn panic into action and fear into confidence.

With comfort, punctuality and safety at the heart of every journey, you can trust that your furry companion is in caring, capable hands from pick-up to drop-off.
